WEB: Where Everyone Belongs
WEB is a middle school transition program that welcomes 6th-grade students and connects them with each other and our school. Built on the belief that students want to help other students succeed, the program trains students in the 8th-grade class to be WEB leaders. At Kelly, our WEB leaders are called PILOTS leaders. As positive role models, PILOTS leaders guide 6th graders to discover what it takes to be successful in middle school and beyond.

Our goal is to provide a structure in which students make real connections with each other. A fun and energetic orientation day get 6th graders excited and proud to be attending our school. They begin developing relationships with other students as well as learn strategies that will contribute to their middle school success. After orientation, our 8th-grade PILOTS leaders continue providing a variety of both academic and social follow up activities throughout the year during our daily Advisory class.
