Juntos Project
Student Surveys
All students will be offered a school climate survey as part of our 2-year commitment with Project Juntos. The survey is voluntary and will be offered to students in Advisory in December. If you have concerns about your student taking the survey please contact Mr. Wayland, the Assistant Principal.

Checking Your Student Out of School
If you know in advance, please write a note specifying what time you need your student in the office and the reason they are leaving. The student shows the note to their teacher to be excused from class and brings the note to the office to check out. When figuring out what time you need your student please take into account the time they need to stop by their locker and travel up to the front office, also if they are in PE they will need to change their clothes

If you don’t know in advance or forget to give your student a note, please give us a call with as much advance notice as possible. That will give us enough time to locate your student and have them waiting for you in the office so you can get to your appointment on time! This will also minimize interruptions to classrooms, when parents come in without warning we have to page into the classroom and that can be disruptive.

Box Tops for Education
Kelly Middle School receives money based on the number of Box Tops we collect and submit each year.  In the 2017/18 school year, our school collected hundreds of Box Tops and earned much needed $$$ through this program!   With your help, we can earn even more for our school this year.

It is a very easy 3 step process.

  1. Clip Box Tops from specially marked products.
  2. Turn in the Box Tops to your school.
  3. School receives a check.

Please trim box tops without cutting off expiration dates.

Collecting Box Tops for Kelly Middle School is very simple. Clip Box Tops from your favorite grocery products.  Look for the pink Box Tops coupon on brands like Cheerios®, Betty Crocker®, Huggies®, Cottonelle®, Pillsbury®, Ziploc®, Kleenex®, Hefty® and many more.  Visit www.boxtops4education.com to learn about more ways to earn for your school.

Kidsports Scholarships
Vouchers Available
THROUGH THE ‘ADOPT-A-SCHOOL’ program, we have scholarship vouchers at Kelly Middle School for Kidsports activities. Please check with the office to apply for a voucher. Due to the limited number of scholarships vouchers, we issue one per student per calendar year. You can find registration and deadline information on the Kidsports website: www.kidsports.org.
