The Eugene School District believes that the purpose of interscholastic athletics is to have fun, maintain and improve high standards of conduct, competition and friendly relations with visiting schools.

All spectators no matter what their personal feelings of loyalty may be to one or the other teams in these contests should reflect an attitude of sportsmanship. All persons attending athletic contests have a right to be free from insult, intimidation, and harassment.

GANAS – After School Homework Club

This after-school program for students interested in Latino culture. Besides homework help, students may do fun activities like craft-making and dances. Spanish-speaking aides are available. Kelly students in the Ganas after-school study group work with University of Oregon MeCHA students on their homework.

School Socials

There are three school socials every school year. These events feature a variety of activities designed for students to practice social skills and have fun while increasing their positive bonding to school. Activities may include such things as craft-making, games, and of course dancing while a live DJ spins tunes. We encourage all students to participate.

Walk-A-Thon

At the beginning of every school year, it is the tradition for all Kelly students to participate in a combined fitness walk and fundraiser. All students will head out for the walk. Students that wish to attend the Prize Party can collect monetary donations from neighbors, friends, and relatives. Click here to make online donations, family and friends can use guest check out without having to create a SchoolPay account!
