Welcome Back
The first day of school is approaching quickly, and we are excited to welcome returning and new students to the hallways and classrooms at Kelly Middle School. We have been busy this summer preparing and planning the new school year, and we want to make sure that families and students have all the information that they need to have a successful start to the year. In the Back to School Newsletter, which is attached, you will find key dates, events, and information to get us off to a great start.

We will be focused on three key areas throughout the year: Attendance, Belonging, and Learning.
We know that student growth—both academically and socially—starts with being here. Every day a student walks through our doors is an opportunity to learn something new, build a relationship, contribute to our community, and take another step toward reaching their potential. Our goal is for every student to experience a strong sense of belonging, knowing they are seen, valued, and an important part of Kelly Middle School.
Back-to-School Event — August 31
We are looking forward to seeing many of you on August 31 for our Welcome Back Event! We are open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. This is a great opportunity to:
Pick up your student schedule
Get your locker
See where classrooms are, and practice opening lockers (classrooms will not be open yet, but the hallways are!).
Update important student and family information (annual forms and permissions)
Pay fees
Get a free bus pass or ask questions about other transportation options
Learn about additional family resources
Purchase school spirit gear
Get help with school apps and technology
Sign up to volunteer and be part of our Kelly Parent Group
Get excited and ready for the year ahead
