Message from BEST

BEST Families,

Please join us for our Winter Family Pizza Night on Thursday, December 12 after program! The event will run from 5:30pm until 7pm, with food and refreshments provided in the cafeteria while you mingle with other families, meet our BEST Staff, and learn more about what your student has been up to during the first two sessions of the year. Families will have the opportunity to visit some of the enrichment classrooms to hear from the staff teaching those classes, and see examples of some of the amazing projects and activities your students have participated in over the last two months.

Hope you can join us!

Barnes and Noble

We would like to invite all families to attend the Barnes and Noble Book Fair to raise money for our student programs. This is a great way to purchase books you are wanting for you or for someone else and support our school at the same time. All you need to do is stop by on Dec. 14, tell them that you are with the Kelly Middle School book fair and purchase your item. Our PILOT leaders will be on site reading stories and making crafts for the little ones.

Kelly/YG Transition Team

To support the joining of staffs and student populations, a team of teachers, parents and classified staff members will be meeting every month beginning on December 12. The purpose of this team is to bring stakeholders together, provide valuable input, and communicate to the wider school community about the transition. Please continue to read this document for future updates from this work team.

Kelly/YG Combined Site Council Meeting

On Wednesday, December 11, the Kelly site council group will host the YG site council group in the Kelly library at 3:45. This meeting will begin the process of sharing concerns, important details around the move and how to begin to create community on the Kelly campus for school year 2020/2021. We invite parents and staff to attend, but we will not be taking public comment.
