FREE Breakfast and Lunch

Kelly Middle School is excited to announce that Breakfast and Lunch is now free for ALL students! Breakfast is served at 8:15a.m.


Kelly/YG Transition and Merge


Kelly and YG K-5 teachers will meet in a collaborative staff meeting on Wednesday February 12 at Kelly.

Track Starting Soon

Track season will begin soon. If you think, your child might be interested in participating, please schedule a physical now. In order to be on the team students must have a physical that is no more than 2 years. You can call the office if you need to check and see if we have a current physical on file for your student.

Our annual Track Assembly will be held on Thursday February 6. Please speak with your students about joining our track team. Look for information and complete your track packet today. Students can pick up the track packets in the office, or get it off the Kelly Website.

Barnes and Noble

We would like to invite all families to attend the Barnes and Noble Book Fair to raise money for our student programs. This is a great way to purchase books you are wanting for you or for someone else and support our school at the same time. All you need to do is stop by on Feb. 1, tell them that you are with the Kelly Middle School book fair and purchase your item. Our PILOT leaders will be on site reading stories and making crafts for the little ones. For flyer click here.


Exclusion Day
Wednesday, February 19, 2020 is immunization exclusion day this school year. This means that your student’s school immunization record must be up to date with all required immunizations in order to stay in school. Letters were mailed at start of December if your student is missing immunizations. Please return these letters with the dates of shots that were given. For questions or a duplicate letter, please leave a message for the health assistant at your child’s school.

Vaccinate – It’s Not too Late

Influenza typically continues through April.  It isn’t too late to benefit from Seasonal flu vaccines The vaccine is available at pharmacies, your health care provider and Public Health Clinic, 541-682-4041. We encourage all children to be vaccinated.


Fever Free 

Remember, your student must be fever free without the use of fever reducing medications for at least 24 hours, before returning to school after an illness. Your child also must remain home until 24 hours after last vomiting or diarrhea episode. Thanks for helping reduce spread of illnesses.


Kidsports Scholarships

Vouchers Available

THROUGH THE ‘ADOPT-A-SCHOOL’ program, we have scholarship vouchers at Kelly Middle School for Kidsports activities. Please check with the office to apply for a voucher. Due to the limited number of scholarships vouchers, we issue one per student per calendar year. You can find registration and deadline information on the Kidsports website: www.kidsports.org.


Upcoming Events

Dear Kelly Families,
We have a wonderful opportunity for our Kelly students to learn Mexican traditional dances. Ms. Teresa Montes, a volunteer parent at El Camino del Río, has put together two dance groups at the elementary school. She is offering to work with Kelly students on Wednesday evenings, from 7:00 to 7:30 p.m. The immediate goal is to teach students a dance to be performed during our Benito Juárez Celebration, coming up on Friday, April 10. The long-term goal is to create the possibility to form a regular middle school dance troupe at Kelly.

NATIVES Program is holding a fun event to meet other Middle and High School Students to learn about college and career choices/options and assistance in applying for them. LTD Touch Pass
